Maternity Session: Plymouth South Shore Professional Photographer

This has been one whirlwind weekend; Beach Mini Sessions on Saturday, Maternity Session on Sunday, and in between on Friday, Saturday and Sunday I was taking photos around town for Destination Plymouth.  Today is time for one deep breath and then tomorrow is family photos in the morning and another night of Cameras and Cocktails in the evening!  Whew!!! My maternity photos were a highlight.  It was for a wonderful family that I have done sessions for multiple times in the last couple years.  I love so much seeing them and working with them.  Also seeing little miss "S" growing into such a beautiful little girl!

Throwback Thursday: The first day of the rest of my life

So last Thursday was my 4 year anniversary with Dave.  So technically this post should have happened last week, but my dad took precedence :)  This is the first picture Dave and I ever had taken of the two of us by my very good friend Laurence when we were with her in Metz, France.  The funny thing is that I knew then that we were meant to be together.  So did Dave.  He went back to Colorado and told everyone that he was moving to Boston.. her didn't know when but he was.  This was the beginning of many of the great things that have come my way..Dave and Lucy..the two best things that ever happened to me! Plymouth South Shore Professional Photographer: Family Photos and Party all Rolled into one

So here is another great idea that people don't always think of.  How about inviting a photographer to a couple hours of your next family gathering and having some professional family photos done?  I have booked some events like these in the near future and more coming.  It is becoming a more popular idea.  For a little more than what you would pay to get your own family photos done you have captured a moment to remember and you have your family on film as well.  Here are some of my favorites from the most recent event.

I can’t believe it is 2 years since this great couple graced our doors!  We loved working with Katie and Justin.  They were so nice and so easy to work with.  We are so happy that they were so lucky to find each other and to have a beautiful baby boy to celebrate spring with themselves!  We should all celebrate spring and family today!Katie and Justin

Plymouth South Shore Professional Photographer: Headshots for Devon Barley competing on The Voice-Plymouth/Cape Cod Portrait Photographer

I have to admit that I don't watch a lot of TV.  I had not seen Devon perform until after we took his head shots, but he was utterly amazing! We were so excited to have the opportunity to work with Devon on these pictures.  He is the nicest, most laid back guy and very photogenic.  We hope you enjoy seeing a glimpse of Devon's photo shoot as much as we liked working with him.  If you want to see more of Devon, he is competing tomorrow night (Tuesday) on The Voice which airs on NBC at 9/8 pm.  We encourage everyone to use the following link to vote for Devon after his performance tomorrow.

Plymouth South Shore Professional Photographer: K and J Enagement Photos-Plymouth/Cape Cod Portrait Photographer

We had so much fun working with K and J on their engagement photos!  It was a gray dreary day, just after the numerous days of rain we had.  I crossed my fingers the whole time that we would not be rained out.  With wedding season upon us it would be hard to find a new date in the next few weeks.  We were so lucky that the sun made an appearance and this is what we ended up with! Plymouth South Shore Professional Photographer: Amazing new wedding shots!

Weddings are so much fun! Especially when the people you have the pleasure of photographing are friends of yours.  I had the pleasure of taking a few photos for a friend of mine a few weeks ago and the pictures are some of the most fun I have had yet.  I was able to play around with so many different angles and different lighting.  They just wanted something that was fun and exciting.  This gave me the opportunity to totally go to town with the pictures and the results are amazing.  Here is just a taste of what I gave them.  I hope you like them as much as I do!
